Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Shipping Schedule

  • Shipments are dispatched three (3) times weekly.

  • Packages received and properly packaged before 12:00 p.m. (mid-day) will be processed for same-day delivery.

  • Packages received after 12:00 p.m. will be processed for next-business-day delivery.

  • Cut-off times are strictly enforced to ensure operational efficiency.

2. Customs Clearance & Charges (Jamaica)

  • All shipments entering Jamaica are subject to Jamaica Customs Agency regulations.

  • Customers are responsible for all Customs duties, GCT, SCT, environmental levies, processing fees, port charges, and any other government fees.

  • Customs charges are not included in shipping fees unless expressly stated.

  • Estimates provided are not final and may change based on Customs valuation and inspection.

  • Delays caused by Customs inspections, holds, or queries are outside of our control.

3. Documentation & Declaration

  • Customers must provide accurate invoices, values, descriptions, and consignee information.

  • Undervaluation, misdeclaration, or vague descriptions are strictly prohibited.

  • Any fines, penalties, storage, or seizure resulting from incorrect information will be borne entirely by the customer.

4. Delivery Policy

Free Delivery

  • Free delivery is available to select corporate/commercial areas only.

Home / Special Delivery

  • Home delivery or special delivery requests will incur an additional fee.

  • Delivery may be facilitated via Uber, iDrive, or a third-party courier.

  • All third-party delivery costs must be paid by the customer in advance.

Out-of-Town Delivery

  • Out-of-town deliveries are facilitated via Knutsford Express or other approved carriers.

  • Once a package is confirmed handed over to the selected carrier, liability transfers to that carrier.

  • Any loss, damage, or delay thereafter must be pursued directly with the carrier.

5. Lost or Damaged Packages

  • The company does not accept liability for lost, damaged, or delayed packages caused by:

    • Airlines, shipping lines, Customs, ports, or third-party carriers

    • Customs inspection or seizure

    • Improper or inadequate packaging

  • Customers are strongly encouraged to insure high-value items.

  • Claims must be reported within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence.

  • No claims will be entertained without proper documentation.

6. Storage Policy

  • Packages must be collected or delivered promptly once available.

  • Packages stored beyond ten (10) days will attract a storage fee of JMD $100 per day, per package.

  • Storage fees must be settled before release.

  • Uncollected packages after an extended period may be disposed of or returned at the customer’s expense, where legally permitted.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

The company does not accept:

  • Illegal drugs, firearms, ammunition, weapons, explosives

  • Counterfeit or pirated goods

  • Hazardous materials (unless pre-approved)

  • Perishables (unless pre-approved)

Any undeclared restricted items may result in seizure, fines, or legal action, for which the customer assumes full responsibility.

8. Packaging Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for proper and secure packaging. Therefore fragile packages must be adequately packaged to prevent breakage.

  • The company is not liable for damage caused by poor packaging, leakage, or breakage.

9. Payment Policy

  • All shipping, Customs, delivery, and storage fees must be paid in full before release.

  • Outstanding balances will result in shipment holds.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

10. Abuse, Non-Compliance & Right of Refusal

  • Verbal abuse, harassment, or threats toward staff will not be tolerated.

  • Attempts to pressure staff to:

    • Under-declare items

    • Bypass Customs

    • Release packages without payment
      will result in service refusal.

  • The company reserves the right to refuse service to any customer who violates policies or Jamaican law.

11. Governing Law

  • This policy is governed by the laws of Jamaica.

  • Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Jamaican courts.
